I drive on terrible roads. The factory rear shocks on my ‘26 SR5 were fine on good roads. But bouncy on dirt roads and especially bridge expansion joints. I wanted an upgrade for the rear that kept the comfortable ride but handle the bumps better. I worried about making the rear too stiff. These shocks are the perfect choice for me. My Tacoma rides so much better now. No more double bounce after large impacts and it handles washboard dirt roads too. On the road the ride is still smooth and not jarring as I imagine stiff shocks would be. It’s the perfect plend of performance and comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase. Installation was easy. After getting the factory shocks off and seeing how soft they are I can see why it was so bouncy. These shocks are great for someone who wants much better performance but doesn’t want a stiff unforgiving ride.
