I wanted to wait atleast 5k miles before I wrote a review so I could get a good feeling of these shocks. I first installed these at the 2nd notch with the lift springs and a 1 inch block in the rear. Gave me a slight rake and I loved the stance. I orginally installed these at 38k miles with stock wheels and tires. These felt stiff on road and and even better body roll then stock with the same tires and 3 inches of lift. Offroad with stock wheels and tires was a bit bummpy at 25 psi and below 25mph, but when you would reach 45 to 60 mph on a open dirt desert road it actually floated like a cloud on the washboard roads. I was kinda shocked including my friends. I have driven a other Colorado with fox ifp shocks and a Colorado with bilstien 5100s and by far they actually felt the best on the dirt roads. At 43k miles I installed a 1.5 body lift and 285-70-17 tires and method wheels. The ride is actually better then stock wheels and tires, It kind of took a little stiffness out and made the ride quality over stock.
My goal was to gain a little height for a larger tire and more aggressive stance without changing the geometry of the truck. This kit gave me exactly 2 inches in the front (at the lowest setting) and I took advantage of the 1 inch gain you get from the rear shocks by adding a block. The truck now rides better 2 inches higher than it did on the stock Z71 suspension. As a guy that doesn't need a remote reservoir set up I think this is as good as it gets for quality pieces and an excellent ride on and off road.
