WoW!! Checked all over the net for shock reviews and people say you gotta have King shocks or settle with Bilstein. I’ve always hated the Bilstein that came with the factory “Off-Road “ package on my ram 2500. I live in SW CO on a dirt road and wither Bilstein HD Yellow/Blue shocks I had to disconnect my swaybar just to try and soften up the ride, it did help and took away some of the stiff pushing feel on the front of these trucks. Day 1 I fell in love with these Eibach shocks, sway connected again, much more linear dampening. I’ve had them for 3k mi of MTB shuttles, towing TAG camper around Utah, and daily driver duties and after the first couple days they did soften up a bit more than I wanted but they have stayed the same since and no oil leaks or anything I just think the valving had broken in. Jarring is gone, banging through the dirt road potholes no longer making us cringe and overall this is the ride quality that so many people on the internet said you have to go full on Carli/Thuren $$$ to get. If I was to do it over I probably would have gotten the leveling kit, but these Black/Red shocks were on sale. 5stars for being both Made in America & actually made by Eibach (not relabeled or farmed out) 4.5 stars for were the dampening settles out to be. Once we kill these I WILL be replacing with the Silver Eibachs that are a bit longer, these HD truck don’t really come with any down travel (droop) to the shocks. The shocks I received are the exact same length as the factory Bilsteins that I removed.
