Pirelli World Challenge GTS
Michael Cooper Clinches GTS Title at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Salinas, California (September 13th, 2015) – Syosset, New York racer, Michael Cooper has clinched the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge GTS championship in his Eibach #10 Blackdog Speedway Shop Chevrolet Z28. A 10th place finish at the Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Monterey secured the title for the veteran. The championship marked his first in the division and the third overall for Blackdog Speed Shop.
Audi Sport TT Cup
Jan Kisiel Crowns Himself King of Oschersleben Oschersleben, Germany (September 12th, 2015) – 21-year-old, Jan Kisiel swept the Audi Sport TT Cup action at the Motorsport Arena Oscherleben to score his second and third victories of the season on the tour. With triumphs in both rounds of competition the Eibach customer has now assumed control of the overall lead in the standings with just four events remaining in the season.
Australian GT Championship
Team Audi Enjoys Successful Outing at Sandown Raceway Springvale, Victoria, Australia (September 13th, 2015) – Christopher Pies, working with the assistance of Ryan Millier, in the Audi R8 LMS ultra of Team Jamec PEM racing streaked to the victory in the second round of the weekend at Sandown Raceway. With just one race remaining on the 2015 docket, Mies is leading the drivers’ standings ahead of his Audi brand colleague, Nathan Antunes. In the Trophy classification for older models, the Audi customer teams celebrated a victory as well. Greg Taylor and Barton Mawer in the Audi R8 LMS of Wall Racing won the second race.
International Motor Contest Association (IMCA) Modified
Podium Finished for Ricky Thornton Jr. in IMCA Super Nationals Boone, Iowa (September 12th, 2015) – Chandler, Arizona’s Ricky Thornton Jr. rocketed through the pack from the 19th starting spot to register a 3rd place finish in the IMCA Modified finale for the 33rd Annual IMCA Super Nationals at Boone Speedway. Overall it was a strong performance for the pilot of the Eibach Platinum Springs #20RT Larry Shaw Modified against a field of more than two hundred entries.
Super Late Model
Ashley Newman Nabs KLMS Checkers Calvert City, Kentucky (September 10th, 2015) – Ripley, Tennessee’s Ashley Newman raced to his first victory of the season in the Super Late Model division and his eighth triumph overall with a win at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway. He dominated the program in his Upton Motorsports #73 Longhorn/Eibach entry.
United States Racing Association (USRA) B-Mod
Ryan Gustin Guns Down Night #1 USRA B-Mod Nationals Foes Fountain City, Wisconsin (September 10th, 2015) – Ryan Gustin bested a field of 148 entries during the opening night of the 4th Annual Mississippi Thunder Speedway B-Mod Nationals at Mississippi Thunder Speedway. Gustin started 8th on the grid in the Gustin Racing #19J Eibach Springs entry before charging to the victory.
Ryan Gustin Takes $20,000 Top Prize at Fountain City Fountain City, Wisconsin (September 12th, 2015) – Marshalltown, Iowa’s Ryan Gustin dominated the finale in the USRA B-Mod Nationals in his Gustin Racing #19J Eibach Springs entry to claim the $20,000 top prize. Starting from the pole position, Gustin led all 60 laps of the finale to register his fourteenth win of the 2015 season.
United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) Super Late Model
Billy Moyer Bags World 100 Prelim Checkers Rossburg, Ohio (September 12th, 2015) – Six-time, World 100 champion, Billy Moyer dominated his preliminary feature during the second round of the 45th Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway to capture the $5,000 payday. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer led every lap of the 25-lap affair on his way to his eleventh win of the year behind the wheel of his Henderson Motorsports #21 Eibach Super Late Model.
